Brine is the embodiment of a coral reef. Because a reef isn't just one creature but a collection of many, he refers to himself as "we" or "us". Brine spends most of his time in the ocean watching over many of the other sea life. He's a bit slow on land so he propels himself by using strong jets of water from his feet and back. Brine tends to be very sarcastic in conversation (though it's unintentional). As a friend he's proven to be very reliable and trustworthy, but don't get on his bad side as he loves the thrill of a fight. Brine's arch nemesis is a starfish named Asterisk. They've clashed against one another on many occasions so Brine always keeps on guard.

Brine has the ability to temporarily absorb colors from objects and convert it into power. The power Brine acquires differs depending on the color he absorbs. Warm based colors (i.e. red, orange, yellow) temporarily boosts his physical strength while cool based colors (i.e. green, blue, purple) gives him a colorful energy blast. Brine cannot absorb anything white, black, or gray. Once he uses the power he absorbed the borrowed colors return to where they originated.



Brine the Reef is one of my most brilliant creations. Take him and prepare to get stoned to death.
